Description
The multi chambered bat box has a large internal space that can accommodate a colony of bats. It can be used as a summer roost, or potential maternity roost.
The box features internal concrete dividers as well as a rough surface, this provides a wide variety of hanging spaces as well as making it easier for bats to grip.
There are two entrances, one on the front panel and one on the underside of the box.
The front panel and internal wooden dividers can be removed for easy cleaning in the winter months, provided the box is not occupied.
The box can be mounted onto trees or on buildings and is best positioned at a height of between 3m and 6m.
